HawaiianMiles members are facing big changes. Starting October 1, 2025, HawaiianMiles will be merged into Atmos Rewards, a new loyalty program created by Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines. While miles will convert at a 1:1 ratio, the value and flexibility of your points may soon decline.

1. Hotel Transfers End August 20

One of the most useful features—redeeming miles for Marriott Bonvoy hotel stays—will no longer be available after August 20, 2025. If you’ve used HawaiianMiles for hotel stays, this is your last chance.

2. Upgrades Disappear September 25

After September 25, you will no longer be able to redeem miles for First Class or Extra Comfort seat upgrades. This cuts off a major way members have enjoyed real value from their points.

3. System Blackout September 26–30

Between September 26–30, your account will be locked as the program transitions to Atmos Rewards. That means no access, no redemptions, and no transfers.

4. Uncertain Future Value in Atmos Rewards

While HawaiianMiles will transfer at 1:1 into Atmos Rewards, redemption rates and availability remain unclear. There’s no guarantee you’ll get the same or better value from your points once the new system takes over.
